This week as been an awful one. My 7 month old started vomiting and having diarrhea a week ago today. She had to go into the hospital for IV fluids. Ok today everything seems to have stopped however she will eat her baby food but will not drink any liquids. I have tried to give her popsicles (regular and pedialyte) and will give her pedialyte through a medicine dropper just so that she can have something. She has probably had a total of about 2 ounces of liquid. I don’t know what is wrong with her. She goes back to the MD on Wednesday.

This is my third pregnancy and I have suffered from numerous bouts of diarrhea during each, with my second pregnancy it got so bad I would spend up to 12 hours at a time confined to our bathroom with terrible pain and feeling so weak it was difficult to take care of my other child. I started taking Iron pills which helped with this, however my second child still came 6 weeks early and I do wonder if this was the cause.
We have recently discovered we are pregnant with our third child and I am feeling a little concerned this is going to be repeated. If anybody else has had issues of this nature – I would love any advise on how to deal with it. With two children under 2 at present I really can’t afford to be so unwell.

I had a c-section 5 days ago and I have a small amount of dry yellow discharge on my incision. I called the doc office and they said it was normal, but my books say it is not. Did anyone else have this?

2) Be sure the dog has water available AT ALL TIMES because diarrhea will cause dehydration really fast
3) YOU KNOW THE DOG HAS WORMS – get the dog to the vet….can’t afford it? that’s a $hitty excuse and you simply cannot afford a dog if you can’t afford something small such as this. The poor dog is lethargic because it’s infected with WORMS .. these parasites are sucking all the dog’s nutrition out of its body.

I’ve been constipated for 3 days, what should I do?
The last time I went number 2 was on Sunday. Nothing on Monday.
Yesterday, on Tuesday afternoon, I cut a glycerin suppository in half and used it (I’m 16 and kind of small, so that’s why I cut it in half, though I figured it wouldn’t be as effective). I’m not sure I put it in far enough. All that happened was that I got a little bit of diarrhea.
That same day, Tuesday night, I took a stool softener, figuring it would work because it had worked when I’d used it on previous occasions. (You’re supposed to take 2 or 3 of these stool softener pills if you’re over 12 years old, but 1 has worked in the past for me.)
Today, Wednesday, nothing. No poop. I don’t feel uncomfortable or anything, but I usually go every day so I’m worried.
Should I take a stimulant laxative or what? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
How much have you been eating? If you haven’t eaten that much last 3 days, then chances are you are empty, so that’s why you don’t actually have to go.
Otherwise, I would highly recommend either try a laxative called magnesium citrate, which is a bottle of a flavored, sour liquid that you drink at least half of the bottle, and it really WORKS GOOD! (from personal experience, I have constipation too). Otherwise, try a full-size Fleet enema (not the little one, the big tall one) and that should do the trick.
