Has anyone been through preterm labor?

i had my first at 35 weeks and im 35 weeks now and i think i might be goin thro early signs but am not sure( you’d think id know by now rite ;( ) . i know y’all aren’t my docs lol, but its nice to hear from other women who have been through these things before.

I had preterm labor at 32 weeks (this past August). I know it’s hard to tell, but I was having contractions that would be anywhere from 5-10 minutes apart, and would not quit with rest. (Although they might slow down to 30 minutes or longer apart). I also noticed they would intensify with activity. Although they didn’t especially hurt, it WAS preterm labor.

The back pains could be back labor, but it sounds like a stomach bug actually. An irritated bowel can cause contractions too! The best way to tell is to drink a lot of water (at least 2 8oz glasses) and lay down on your left side. If the contractions don’t quit after an hour, call your doc or hospital.

Don’t worry, this was my second child, and I had so many questions this time, you would’ve thought this was my first pregnancy! hehe Take care and congrats to you!

my cat has diarrhea and its BLOODY awful! how can i stop this?

yo guy. my cat has diarrhea and he cant even make it to the litter box. to make it even worse its bloody diarrhea. is there any way to stop this or any diseases that could cause this to happen?

you need to get this cat to the vet STAT! your cat is probably severely dehydrated at this point and probably anemic. odds are it is worms but it could be intestinal bleeding. this is not something you can even wait till morning for.

Why I’ll Never Drive Without Rubber Floormats

I’ve always been a frugal person, saving every penny and trying to build up my savings. Some people thought I was just a tightwad, but the truth was that I was saving up for a very special purchase: a ’67 Mustang! For some reason I have always loved the bold stylings of Mustangs and I was really excited when I finally got mine and drove it into my garage.

A few minutes after we started driving, Champ started whimpering and making strange noises. A pungent odor began to fill the air. Tim and I turned to look and we simultaneously screamed: “Ahhh! Doggy diarrhea!”

It was true. My interior had been befouled.

The next day was gross and heartbreaking, but I managed to clean up the mess. Then I laid my hands on the hood of the car and swore a sacred oath: “I swear by Ford that I will henceforth allow no creature to soil thy interior.”

I went online and began to research all the floormat options that are available nowadays. From carpeted to all-weather, it seemed that there was something for every situation. Then, I saw what I was looking for: rubber floor mats. Just as you shouldn’t hit the nightclubs without a few rubbers in your pocket, you shouldn’t drive without quality rubbers in your car. This goes double if you live in proximity to a canine with an explosive diarrhea disease.

It was great because the mats were made for a customized fit and could be easily hosed off should a spill happen. Plus, the underside was ridged so the thing would stay put and not slide around.

I need help finding a dog food that good for my dogs…?

I have to dogs an Australian Shepherd and a Toy Schnauzer. I’ve had my Aussie the longest and he doesn’t do well on Eukanuba, Royal Canin, Purina or Chicken Soup for the Dog’s Soul or something or other. My Toy Schnauzer doesn’t do well on the Chicken Soup, Eukanuba, or Royal Canin. My problem is that I have to get them both the same food or they will refuse to eat until they have what the other has. They have had explosive diarrhea with the foods listed for them (they were on them each several months before we switched to try something else) and the Vet says that they are fine and that it is most likely the food that is causing it. Now my Aussie can’t have treats either other wise it worse than with the food alone.

I feed both my dogs Blue Buffalo. It’s Holistic and free of all the by products and corn stuff dogs are allergic too. They both love it very much and have the best shiny coats i have ever seen.

My kitten was off his food and has been sick this afternoon. My daughter did not want a yogurt at breakfast this morning if she feed it to the kitten could this have upset his stomach? How do you guys cope with an IBS or diarrhea attack?

With guys in mind (i’m a guy), but anyone can answer, how do you cope if you’re out and about miles away from any safe haven and you have a dose of the Squits/shites/trots/runs?
I often don’t cope and mess my boxers. anyone have any similar expirences or any tips on how to make a similar problem better?
According to my GP I don’t have IBS or anything physically wrong with me that he can find. I don’t feel ill, its just randomly, quite often, I get uncontrolable diarrhea, its virtually impossible to predict or stop when it happens.

Do you suffer from depression?? The reason I ask is because you can get simular symptoms to IBS when you suffer from depression, I did when I had depression. I had all the tests for IBS including the barium enima and was told by the consultant that I had IBS. I was under a psycologist at the time Who was treating me for PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and depression and she told me that many people who have depression get IBS like symptoms. That was about 3 years ago and I am now over the PTSD and depression and also have had no IBS like symptoms for just over a year. Good luck.
