well, its been a week, and I been constipated and had diarrhea. But, I ate plenty of fiber and veggies. So im no longer constipated. But I am hungry very often. I usually can withsand hunger the whole day. Why is that happening ? Why am i hungry, but it feels so powerful. my stomach starts hurting when I havent ate for 2-3 hours. When i can easily withstand 4-5 normally. My stool is also in chunks, Their not very long. and Sometimes, I still get wet stool, but I had to hold it in all day, but. I thought diarrhea symptoms and constipation clear up in a few days. I want your opinion of what this is. Not go to the doctor. Because I will if it doesnt clear up. But I want to know how severe or minimal this is. my tummy pain seems to clear up, I just get hungry,and at nighttime when sleeping when i normally dont but I do now. I can see the fiber in my stool. But I justw ant to stop the quick hungern ess.

When I refused to use antibiotics without further examination, he said antibiotics is a MUST for small babies.

That is a very outdated attitude and most experts would say that breast is best until weaning is complete.Breast milk is designed to be the perfect food and does not loose its quality….?? I breast fed 3 baby’s until they were weaned at 8 months and they were very healthy ..in fact all my baby’s were like little Buddhas lol!!. It is a very ignorant thing to conclude that the reason for breastfeeding is financial. It is what our body’s were designed to do.
As for the drug issue I am not sure but usually re hydration therapy is used to treat diarrhoea and doctors do not usually like to overuse antibiotics. Newborns are particularly vulnerable when suffering from diarrhoea but I would have though adult strength drugs would be dangerous.
